Sarah Saylor, DVM

Dr. Sarah Saylor is originally from Fairhope, Alabama. She attended Auburn University for her undergraduate studies and veterinary school, where she graduated valedictorian of her veterinary class. After graduation, Dr. Saylor moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and completed a small animal rotating internship and surgical residency at North Carolina State University.

Following her residency, Dr. Saylor moved back to Alabama to join Huntsville Veterinary Specialists and Emergency as a small animal surgeon. Dr. Saylor enjoys all aspects of surgery, with specific interests in fracture repair, Achilles tendon injury, and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Saylor is also strongly committed to owner education and helping pet owners make informed decisions regarding their pet’s treatment plans.

In her free time, Dr. Saylor enjoys traveling with her husband, running, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
