Geoff Harriman was born and raised in Huntsville, AL.  He and his wife, Brooke, have three children (Hayes, Hill, and Saylor Grace) as well as two dogs (Max and Snoopy) and two cats (Alex and Nala).  Geoff enjoys playing golf, running, working out, and most importantly spending time with his family.

Education:

  • Graduated Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009
  • Completed one year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Sandy Springs, GA from 2009-2010
  • Completed one year surgical internship in small animal surgery at Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Overland Park, KS from 2010-2011
  • Completed three year surgical residency in small animal surgery at Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Levittown/Philadelphia, PA from 2011-2014
  • Passed ACVS credentialing exam for board-certification in small animal surgery in 2016

 

Areas of Special Interest:

  • Soft tissue surgery – abdominal/thoracic surgery and reconstructive surgery
  • Orthopedic surgery – fracture repair and stifle reconstruction (cruciate repair and patella stabilization)
  • Oncologic surgery
  • Neurologic surgery – intervertebral disc disease (disc herniation)
